Oil drops to 8-month low, pump prices fall again

Declining oil prices hold the promise of lower pump prices for drivers. The nationwide average has dropped nearly 57 cents in less than three months and is now $3.369 per gallon, according to auto club AAA, Wright Express and Oil Price Information Service. Gas hasn't been this cheap since Jan. 7. Oil has dropped about 25 percent since May 1.

This article for Thursday, June 28, 2012 obviously predated the crude price spike of over $7 per barrel the next day on Friday. (even though it was posted here on Friday)

unfortunately this not the case here in great toronto area , where prices jumped today 3.5 cents / liter or abour 13 cents/gal!

Western South Dakota along I-90 controlled by the Moyle and Erickson families of Rapid City still have regular gasoline in the 3.59-3.69 range.
